SUPER ACTIVITY AUGUST 6th- 11th The summer activity is going to be a 20 mile round trip hike to Havasupai Falls in the canyons adjacent to the Grand Canyon.
Itinerary has changed slightly · Monday: 12PM August 6th Meet at the Stake Center, Travel to Kingman AZ, Sleep at KOA campground · Tuesday: Rise early Hike 10 miles in… Set-up camp, REST · Wednesday: Explore Havasupai Falls and Navajo Falls · Thursday: Mooney Falls, Beaver Falls, Rope swing and if permits can be acquired hike to the Colorado River · Friday: Revisit favorite places, Hike out in the cool in the evening, camp at KOA in Kingman AZ. · Saturday: Drive Home
A supply of water is at the camp and half way point of the trail going in and out. Remember this is a desert, and temperatures may reach 100+ degrees. Where we will be staying it will be cooler. The water is near 70 degrees and is swim able. Nightly temps are usually mid 60's.
